This And That Tuesday

Hi and thanks for the visit on such a cold and snowy day. Went out for a while today, had a Dr. app and Charlie and I went to lunch. I am siting in the restaurant and spot a pretty stain glass window and of course I had my camera in my purse so I snapped a shot to share with you.
When I arrived at home I found Winston in his warm bed, I then looked out the window of the sun room and saw many birds enjoying the seed that we put out all winter, so had to snap a picture or two for this and that Tuesday

The picture below is left to right....My sister JoAnn, my niece Darcy, my mother and my self. This picture was taken many years ago on a trip to Vegas We had a wonderful time and the picture holds many happy memories. I am trying to keep busy because today and tomorrow will mark the anniversaries of the passing on of my sister and my mother. It will be 7 years ago that I lost my sister and 12 years ago that I lost my mother. There passing was 5 years and one day apart. I miss them both so much but time does go on and I am so blessed with the happy memories I have of both of them. There is a reason for the lens of the camera and this picture is the proof of a happy family time that I will hold on to forever. Till later.......Sharon K

Having lost three parents this past year (2 of my husbands, and one of mine) I know only too well how special photos like this are. Thanks for sharing.

These anniversaries are hard Sharon. You must try to remember they are together.
It seems no matter how many years pass, the ache is always there isn't it.
I love the stained glass, and the photo of your little dog..

It is hard to believe they have been gone that long. I miss both Ada Amelia and Aunt Jo. Love, Tam

First, you are gorgeous there.

And second, my best to you, in your continuing grief. But to keep hold of happy memories, seems the very best way to deal with it. For everyone's sake. Especially for you.

Hugs,
Mari-Nanci

Dear Sharon,
I know exactly what you mean about missing your loved ones so much.

The pain gets a little less heartbraking as time goes by but
your thoughts are always with them. I am sure they are with us as beautiful angels watching every step we take.

Hugs,
Pearl

Mom and I will have those great conversations in heaven, 6 years at the end of March, I was by her bedside when she passed, and I recalled at the time to those present that God had given me that time with her and the wonderful time of seeing 3 of our grandchildren born!! God will hold you in his arms. Blessings Nana C

My dear I know how you must feel.

I lost my brother 12 years ago and my dad 8 years ago ... both in April. Each April is a very hard month for me, but it's okay for us both to continue to grieve - to shed tears both for the sad and the happy times.

Blessings to you,
Deborah

I'm having a giveaway - I hope you will come over and check it out.
