Hi everyone, it has been forever since I have taken the time to read or post any thing. We arrived in Fl ten days ago, the weather here is a little cool but so much better then up north. As soon as I got here of course I set up my computer and it was so slow that I told Charlie, I think I need to go to Best Buy and do a little shopping around. I went in and said just what kind of wonderful sales do you guys have this week. I ended up getting a Sony computer with the new vista( not sure about that yet ) I also got one of those Verizon plug in jacks that you can use where ever you are to get the internet......and just like magic I am now up and running. Two days with out this handy little thing I call the computer all most put me in withdraw.Anyway all is well now, and next week we will move into our little cottage that we rented for a month. It has been a long ten days living in a motel. Now I have to go out and take some pictures so I can show you just where I am and what the Villages Fl. is all about. I promise I will be back tomorrow with pictures.........until then, stay warm and be good

Yay~~~ Welcome back, know what you mean about withdrawls lol when my computer crashed last month it was awful!!! I will be sure to check back with you. I got a new laptop but I needed my XP, the vista was too difficult for me.

Glad you got there safely Sharon.
The weather here is still frightful, but it is starting to warm up some. I'm glad you got a new computer, we come to rely on them like we do our other appliances. Once you've owned one, it's to imagine life without it..!

Hi Sharon... Hear what your saying about life witout a computer. I will be without on our trip till I get myself setup... Hope it works out... I also had vista put on my 2nd laptop and really had to adjust to it. I still like my one with XP on it. I got into the scene that my digital camera wasn't compatible and neither was my printer so had to buy new... I hated that... I did everything to try not too but couldn't get program downloads to be compatible but thats all over and I have moved on.... Enjoy our new best friend we call our computer.....
