Oh Christmas Tree.....Oh Good Friends

My Christmas Tree........Small condo/cottage..........Small Tree

Family ... Friends and Christmas just seem to go together especially in the month of December when every one is busy with meetings, parties and special social events. Ti's the season to remember dear ones that have been friends for years and those that have come into our life in the last few years. A saying I will always remember is ( Make new friends but keep the old.....one is silver and the other gold. That saying is one we always said in Girl Scouts and one I will never forget . I guess I did not realize the impact it had on me until I got older and wiser and realized we go through life in stages and I am still meeting people that leave an imprint on my life
Yesterday I met with girl friends I went through grade school and high school with, the same group of friends I posted about a few months ago while enjoying a week at the lake. After lunch we went back to a home where good friends, a very good desert and fellowship were shared.
Below are pictures of a all so pretty home of forever friends........Connie and Roger who live in a big home, she is not only and artist but puts her talents to good use by decorating her home for all the seasons, she did a wonderful job this Christmas season

...I who love wicker and the vintage look think that this room is so pretty..........The tree below sits in the sun room, it won first prize last year at the Pemperville Opera House show of Christmas trees.........Roger was a Toledo fireman and he helped Connie with this tree.........you go guys.
Please come back and visit soon.........untill then the Christmas tree light will be on...........you all come back soon. Love U Sharon K

Your tree is just beautiful, dear Sharon...small or big, a tree is beautiful when it's decorated with love:-) Sounds like you had a wonderful time with your friends, I think it's fabulous that you're still in touch with them after all those years.

Your friends Connie and Roger certainly do know how to decorate...wow! I just love that deer with the Christmas flowers, it's gorgeous. Their tree in the sun room is so delightful with its firefighter theme:-)

Enjoy this wonderful time of the year my friend. Love you. xoxox

Oh,Sharon, I was so excited to see your beautiful Christmas tree ~ I especially love how you have the little doll as a tree topper! It is absolutely lovely. I also wanted to tell you that I noticed in that picture that we have the same grandfather clock!! Your friend's sunroom looks like the perfect place to have a hot cup ofChristmas cocoa and a nice chat:)

I think your tree is lovely. One of my nicest memories is my little Charlie Brown tree I decorated in my apartment years ago. It was so small but so beautiful.

I can see your friend has an artistic talent. Her taste in decorating is awesome.

Sending you hugs,
