Christmas Memories And A Happy New Year......

Christmas is now another memory of a wonderful family day that was filled with good food and many gifts under the Christmas tree.

We had a good brunch and then started opening gifts, starting with the youngest which was 5 years old and then on to the oldest which was 70. This is a tradition that I started a few years back so we could watch each person open all their gifts.

After that it takes a while to get the living room back to normal, picking up all the wrapping paper and getting rid of all the boxes, of course that chore made us all hungry so we had to set up the lunch table. Looking back at the day I think we ate well and should have a tummy just like the jolly fat man in the red suit. This is a picture of my daughter Tammy and her daughter Lindsey taking a brake after opening all the gifts. This is a picture of my other daughter Amy with her family. Left to right Brittany, Amy, Sarah, and Nick. Jess and Austin were gone when we took this picture.
The picture above is of a floral arrangement that was hanging in a lovely Victorian shop where I went shopping the day after Christmas. Forget the stores with the bar gins just give me a sweet shop filled with lovely treasures and I am one happy lady.

From my family to yours I want to wish you and your family a wonderful and Happy New Year filled with all of God's blessings.

Remember a life recorded is twice precious - first the experience itself and then the memory of it full and sweet when we read about it later............ Elaine Cannon

Dear Sharon,
So glad you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. It goes by so fast!
May the new year bring you and yours much happiness and many blessings.
I would much rather shop in a small pretty shop, or antique store than a big ole' Walmart any day!!
Hugs))
