Christmas cookies and happy hearts this is how the season starts...

Welcome to my cottage, please come sit at my table and share with me, warm gingerbreadd cookies and cinnamon tea

There is a cold chill in the air tonight and tomorrow it will only be in the 20.s but inside we will sit in front of the fireplace and enjoy the Christmas tree I like all four seasons but love the cold evening when you can snuggle with a warm blanket and drink Chi tea.
When I had to get up early in the morning while working for the school system I did not like winter . I would drive to work some mornings to find out that the schools had been canceled due to bad weather. Now that I am retired I can sit at the window and watch the snow flakes fly, I can now pretend that they are Angel kisses on the horizon.
To all that are out there working , you have so much to look forward to..............like enjoying the winter wonder land , one of the four seasons that the lord gave us up here in Ohio.
The packages are wrapped and the cookies are baked. I have always loved Christmas and like to enjoy the month of December. I can only enjoy if all the work is finished. I have a few packages to go to the post office and then...........I will sit back, relax and enjoy the season of Christmas.

I am working on a New Year's Eve give away. The new year will find all the packages open under the tree, I thought that would be a good time to put a special package together for you. I am now ready to read a few blogs and visit with all of you for a while.

I just loved how you called the snowflakes angel kisses! I know exactly how you feel about retirement ~ I don't missing the scraping of the car windows in the frigid temps and driving on icy roads, it's so much nicer to sit in your cozy home and just enjoy the view.

Hello dear Sharon:-)

I so wish I could be sitting with you having a tea and just enjoying a nice fire in the fireplace and having a chat!! It's very cold here and we have tons of snow already but I really don't mind, I love how Christmassy the snow makes it look:-)

I've still got my cookies/squares to bake but will get at them in the next day or so. Sounds like you're all set:-)

Enjoy this wonderful time of the year, my friend. xoxo

Hi Sharon,

What a nice and thoughtful posting. I'm like you I must have everything done before I feel relaxed during the month of December.
Monday is the day I plan to finish up my shopping.

Hope you are having a great weekend and thanks for your input on my last post.

Warmly, Melissa :)
