A Family Is A Gift That Lasts Forever......

Hi from Amelia Rose Cottage...Charlie, Sharon and Winston 2

Hi to all of you that took a while to visit me at the cottage, it has been a very long and trying week, I lost my brother-in-law last week but he is now with my sister that passe ed away eight years ago. They are now together again in the kingdom of heaven. Some times it is so hard to realize that the family I grew up with are all together and I am the only one who is still on this earth. I had only one sister and no brothers so my family was very small. I have many happy memories to cherish of how it use to be.

Now on to the week ahead, I hope that every one takes the time to vote and may the best man win......still not sure who that man is but the people of the US will make that decision this Tuesday. God Bless Us All.
The picture above makes me stop and think about the memories I was talking about. I had a doll house and was always changing things around...which I do till this day. I should have understood then ( when I was a wee little girl that I would love decorating.Yoy can see by the size of my little cottage I can not move much of my furniture so I am always cahnging pictures and nick nacks, which by the way can change the look of a room. In the picture above I have the live, love and laugh picture and I will show you in the picture below that I have changed the picture and a few things on the tables. The picture above is one of my favorite rose pictures and the pictures above are of my Grandmother and Grandfather. The pictures on the side are my mother when she was a little girl and the other is my Mother with her parents. These are the memories that I have in my home of long ago.
I hope everyone has a day blessed with the beauty of this beautiful Autumn Earth.........Crisp, apple days and cozy nights.

Dearest Sharon Kay, I am so very sorry to hear of your brother-in-law's passing. One day you will ALL be together again and what a reunion that will be! Until then, keep putting your faith and trust in Our Heavenly Father. Give Charlie and Sir Winston an extra tight squeeze, I know how much they mean to you:) Lots and lots of love, Susan
BTW, I wish you lived next door so I could come and give you a hug in person because I can just hear the sadness in your words............. take care, sweet friend.

Hello Sharon, I think this is my first time visit to your blog. I am so sorry to hear about your brother in law passing last week. Your post touched me because I can sense that you miss all your beloved family that has passed on before you. Just remember that one day you will all be united again. We all have cherished childhood memories of our families and as we grow older, they all seem to be called home by God one by one. That is why we should cherish each moment we spend with our family.
I also love your Sir Winston. I have one named Buster.
Love, Ann
