A Wedding And A Birthday.....August 4th.

Here Comes The Bride was a popular song at the lake Saturday evening. We had a wedding in the sand. The guys wore white shirts and the bride a cute little white dress. Of course they were all bare footed in the sand. The flower girl and ring barer were so cute and she had a flower ring in her hair. The wedding was some what long and I am sure that the little ones got a little bored for after about five minutes they could be seen playing in the sand. The wedding went well and they had the reception on the green
About the time the bride was walking down the sand we were busy starting my birthday party. We all took the time to watch the wedding and then the song Happy Birthday began. We celebrated my birthday and Tammy's the same evening. Mind you we also had a family reunion going on at the same time at the lake. The lake is a wonderful place to celebrate any family occasion and we all took advantage of the water, sand and moon light that evening for sure. My menu was just a little bit different for the party. How about Buffalo style chicken wings, peach pie and grasshoppers?? Wow when I look at the menu now I wonder why we all did not get sick...................Every one bought something and Diana won the award for the best peach pie ever.
Bob was in charge of the blender and the grass hoppers which are made with ice cream and were so good.....And Charlie who is from the Buffalo area of New York made the chicken wings which were a little to warm (hot ) for me. Of course we had birthday cake and a few other goodies which was enjoyed by all. The evening ended with yet another beautiful sunset over Lake Erie. Now you all can see why I love my little summer place at the lake. please stay cool..
