WELCOME BACK TO THE COTTAGE

WELCOME.......PLEASE COME IN

Look who is here to welcome you back to the cottage. I found this darling bear and high chair at a craft show a few weeks ago and of course I just had to have her. Charlie painted our front door red which is my favorite color and I now have my fall wreath hanging there. I also found this old tea pot at the craft show and knew it would find a place to live in my cottage. This picture did not come out real good but you can see that I made little cur tins to go with the valance I had at the kitchen window. This is where I sit in the sun room and think about the next decorating change I will make. I think I look at two many decorating books and I seem to always find one more little thing I can do to change the look of my little cottage..I wish every one a beautiful fall week full of the beauty of this season we call Au tum.

I love it all, Sharon! That adorable bear is a real cutie pie! I love your curtains and was wondering if you bought them or made them (I'd love something just like them that's why I asked) Either way I think they are just lovely. BTW, I would love to have a red door someday, too!

Dear Sharon,
Oh your cottage looks so beautiful! I found a similar old teapot but its copper (although its a bit worn!) I have that on our table filled with flowers too ~
sometimes those decorating books get us into trouble!
Have a lovely Autumn day!

Hi Sharon Kay! Thanks for comming by. I love meeting new peoples and hearing of places I've never been. I love your little bear in the high chair it is so darling. Your red door is lovely and so is the teapot and your comfortable spot to sit. I really enjoyed seeing pictures of Time Square, I lived in Buffalo for a short time but, I can't believe I never made it into the city. Thanks for sharing. Deb

Beautiful.....I've always told you that you should go into home decorating....you do have the knack.....it probably wouldn't be as much fun if you had to do it... your cottage, looks like what a country cottage should look like... when you get down to Tammy's or Amies give me a call and if possible we could maybe go to lunch....I'll take you to Poco Piatti's at Levis Commons, my treat.....love that place.... well have a good day....I'm still getting ready for the craft bazarre at Lisa's church on Nov. 8th.....and then I'm going to try and make Anna a flannel nightgown... so things probably won't slow down until after Christmas.....I keep thinking "Life's short, eat desert first" and I'm living by that quote, so I really should take time to go back to weight watchers....oh well, granny's should be fluffy, shouldn't they... LOL catch ya later my friend....judy

Hi Sharon...

Thanks for stopping by...still not able to walk much or sit for long...have to keep my feet elevated and iced. Sore everywhere yet. Can't wait to feel better, believe me.

We live in Michigan...just over the OH/MI border from Toledo, in Temperance, MI. We're about an hour away from you!!! Hi neighbor!!

I'm adding you to my friend's list.

Jan

You have so many beautiful things in your cottage! I do love the teddy bear, and also those gorgeous curtains. You sewed those? Wow!

I have a soft spot in my heart for wicker chairs! Love the big checks on the seat and the pretty quilt!
