Autum Greetings From Amelia Rose Cottage.......

AUTUM IN OHIO

Hi and Welcome to Autum in Ohio.......My first in nine years and I am loving it...... I would like to take you for a short walk around my little corner of the world. I have the cookies and cider ready so please stay awhile and we can chat.
The chair above is one I found at a garage sale for three dollars. I painted it and arrange flowers in the basket for each season. In the summer I have my red roses siting in the guest of honor chair, now I have the colors of fall siting at my front door. This is a cart I found at a garden shop many years ago. I also change the flowers for each season in the cart that sits in my little garden out side my front door.Come on in and I will show you my treasures.
This is my little autum tree with lights that sits in my dining room. The floral arrangement that sits on my dining room table. This basket of roses and fall flowers sits on my living room flooe close to the front door. Fire place mantel that sits in the sunroom. My angel wings arrangement. Just a little fall color in the kitchen. One of the few trees that have changed color in my yard. My yard happens to be a golf course and they say after the first frost here........the trees will change colors. This is the pond that I look at while siting in the sunroom. As you can see I have many trees to watch change color when the time comes. I like the way you can see the clouds reflected in the pond. Oh yes and remember we should not forget the fall colors in the power room.
I hope you enjoyed my little tour of Autum in my little corner of the world. May we all remember that the Lord does the painting and we just tate the pictures. Please come and visit often.........I love company........Sharon K

Love the Fall Tour of your home! Lovely, just lovely. I've been lamenting the fact that the temps here (DFW, TX) are going to be back up to 90 degrees this coming Thursday. I really need that cool weather. I mean, I REALLY, need it. lol Looking at pictures such as the ones you've posted help make these Indian summer-like days we seem to be experiencing at least a little bit more bearable!

Thank you for your kind words to Joey and Karen. I know they'll read those messages together one day and it will help them get through the darker days. Thanks!

Hi Sharon, Thanks for the colorful tour. It's hard to remember it's even Fall here in steamy, hot FL. We are dreaming of cooler days.

Oh my _what_ a powder room that must be. Please, if you have posted pics of it, please point me to the entry. And if you have not yet.... please do post pics of it.

I LUV that little ambiance lamp there! How wonnnnderful! Leave it to you, to come up with such lovely decorations, in a powder room.

It all looks so welcoming and warm.
Fall decor seems to say "home" more than any other season, I believe.
How lovely to have that pond outside your sun room.
