Little Miss Susie Homemaker........

A good afternoon to every one, and did I say it is warm outside, I can not go outside with out sweating, I feel sorry for any one that has to do physical labor in this kind of heat. I am at Amelia Rose Cottage today, catching up on projects, have the air on good music going and felling like Susie homemaker. I have been busy putting new wall paper border up in the guest powder room. Also I am one to move things around to give an old room a new look and that is what I did today. Move a plant here and a lamp there and like magic you have a complete make over Thanks to Diana for a early birthday present, a cute set of cups and sausers, and Sherie for the darling butter holders that go with it. It is so nice when your friends no just what you like. I had to find a new home for them, and this after many changes is where they live for now. When I move things around there are always one or two items left and of course I would not want to put them away....so this little setting in the kitchen works for right now. I like having a small light in the kitchen, in the evening it is just enough light to see where those cookies are.
I found this artificial plant at a darling little shop and had to have it, I like it because it looks so real I some times think that I should water it. It was a fun day just changing this and that, just like HG TV, move it, paint it, wallpaper it.....and you have a whole new look. Now for that tall glass of tea for me as I walk out to my garden with my camera to take pictures for tomorrows post.......Happy warm and humid Thursday to all..............Sharon K

Are you certain that plant isn't real? :) It is really gorgeous. I never thought about putting a little lamp on the kitchen counter but what a great idea!

Happy Birthday Mom - Sharon Kay's birthday is tomorrow (Saturday) August 4th. I will also mention that she is turning 65 enough for Medicare - but she does not even look like she is in her 50's. Love your favorite daughter, Tammy
